About Us

Columbia Finance Pty Ltd was established in 1990 as a commercial mortgage broker and originator.

We are a boutique company specializing in sourcing investment or development finance secured by commercial or residential property.

Our principal, Don Heideman, is a Chartered Accountant and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. Prior to founding Columbia Finance, Don spent 7 years working at top tier international Accounting firms.

Our experience spans in excess of 20 years and we can modestly lay claim to having sourced finance for every conceivable type of property, whether it be vacant land or a large shopping centre or anything in between.

To put it simply... we take the stress out of the whole ordeal.
